Started in 2010 as a collective dream venture between friends, Four Leaf Tea and Crêpes offers guests a quaint coffee house serving quality coffee, tea and frozen specialty drinks that pair perfectly with our unique array of sweet and savory crêpes. The space is small, providing an intimate atmosphere for guests, and in addition to the handful of tables inside, outdoor seating is also available. Four Leaf is open for lunch, dinner and dessert, and despite most customers associating the eatery with sweet dessert crêpes, the savory crêpes make an ideal lunch or light dinner.
Four Leaf prides itself on our unusual flavor combinations that keep our customers coming back to try new menu items. Typical crêpe ingredients (caramel, chocolate, banana) are offered alongside distinctly Asian flavors (kimchi and mochi) allowing for unique and flavorful fusion creations.
The Sweet Velvet combines toasted almonds and sweetened taro paste with gelato wrapped inside a crêpe; tea-smoked chicken, cilantro-cabbage salad and gruyère cheese seasoned with tea leaf mayo in the Smoking Bird make for an unusual and lightly tea-flavored savory dish. Guests are also invited to create their own crêpe by choosing from a selection of nearly fifty different ingredients. Diners can also choose from coffee-flavored, green tea-flavored or regular crêpe skins.
As evident from the name, Four Leaf is also dedicated to offering its guests an extensive tea menu. Basics like black, green and earl grey are available along with specialty varieties matcha milk tea, Thai iced tea and a number of fruit based teas. Many of the herbal teas also aid in a number of health issues, such as lavender tea which is known for promoting relaxation and easing headache pains. Japanese tapioca balls known as boba can also be added to any of the teas. A full espresso bar is also available as well as a number of shaved ice creations that incorporate fresh fruit, ice cream and sweet syrups.
The owners of Four Leaf Tea and Crêpes in the Little Tokyo district have achieved exactly what they dreamed: an inviting coffeehouse that serves top notch tea and creative crêpes.
